HCC is the fifth most commonly diagnosed and leading cause of cancer mortality and morbidity in worldwide. It increases the incidence and often arises in the Hepatocarcinogenesis. It usually diagnosed in patients aged 50 or above. HCC is not same as metastatic hepatic carcinoma. In most cases, the cause of hepatic carcinoma is long-term damage and scarring of the liver. In this review, we are pointing out the significant findings and summary of early HCC during the multistep hepatocarcinogenesis through MRI and histopathology, which are useful for the detection and diagnosis of early HCC.
