Abstract
A sliding mode compensation scheme for the dynamics of the sensors used for temperature measurements in the combustion chambers of utility boilers and incinerators is proposed. The proposed compensator can be used as a part of the electronics of temperature transmitters. Analysis and design are carried out in the frequency domain with the use of the locus of a perturbed relay system (LPRS) method. Frequency-domain characteristics of the compensator dynamics are derived. An example of design is provided.
