Abstract
⺠Studies individual strategies in an indefinitely-repeated prisoner's dilemma. ⺠Considers a standard as well as a non-standard subject pool (students, clerical workers). ⺠Students cooperate more than workers. ⺠Cooperation increases in both subject pools when a personal punishment option is available. ⺠Students are more likely than workers to sanction uncooperative behavior.
