Abstract
This paper reports the results of a survey on the topics presented in Automatic Control courses, included in the Control Systems Curricula for first degree in the italian university. The enquiry followed the reorganization of Engineering Curricula, from five to three years of study. It shows preliminary results about the distribution of topics in Automatic Control teaching. These topics are considered able to reflect the educational objective of italian first course degree, looking at to train “professional practioner” engineers.
