Abstract

This paper presents an application of the LabVIEW web server technology to the development of real-time web-based interactive control experiences. By an ad hoc software structuring, it is possible to implement experiments with fast sampling, preserving an adequate interactivity over the web, and making the generated data available for download. The user only needs a browser, and a plugin available on the net. The pedagogy of the proposed work involves several aspects, including server- and client-side software structuring, and user interface ergonomy. A complete overview of the application architecture is given, referring the interested reader to the documentation on the laboratory web site.
