Abstract
This paper presents a complete tool where students can study and test nonlinear control algorithms. The system has three different parts which students can evaluate and modify. First, a Simulink model represents the physic model. In this case the inverted pendulum is used. Second, the controller is implemented by a real time distributed control system. Finally, all the system can be managed with a JAVA application. Therefore, students have all the necessary elements to practise with nonlinear and complex systems.
