Abstract
The effect of pulsed voltages on electrohydrodynamic spraying in the cone-jet mode was investigated and a middle-limit voltage was noted. Results show that both the amplitude and the width of the pulsed voltage could affect the behaviour of the spraying. The cone-jet was a stable spraying mode, and the spraying of liquids in the cone-jet mode could be modulated by the pulsed voltage.
