Abstract
The article questions the notion of psychosocial skill in therapeutic patient education and associated issues for psychologists' practice. This work is illustrated with a theoretical and methodological reflection to better meet a fundamental objective of this field of intervention: to strengthen and evaluate psychosocial skills of patients and help them better adapt to their chronic disease. The case of a patient is exposed in order to illustrate the role of the psychologist faced to this educative purpose. With an ethical and deontological reflection, we conclude on its professional positioning in this care context that presents ideological and normative issues.
