Abstract
⺠We assume that judges must calibrate an internal judgment scale in serial evaluations. ⺠This calibration process leads to predictable biases in evaluations. ⺠The present study examines the duration of the calibration process in a talent test. ⺠Possible interventions to prevent biases due to calibration processes are discussed.
