Abstract
The 3rd party trust service is an emerging enhancer of E-commerce. However there are significant technical and business problems to be resolved. In this paper, we present a proposed technical framework-unified trust service platform (UTSP) for trust service provider to provide trust service for all E-commerce participants, including E-commerce marketplace, seller and buyer. This framework is based upon the de facto standard — PKI technology. Applying UTSP, the PKI based trust network infrastructure will be shared, by which not only individual E-marketplaces' security investment is saved but also the trust environment of E-commerce is improved.
