Abstract
A lumped thermal model was developed in order to analyse the transient gas temperature rise and fall in a dielectric barrier discharge reactor. A laboratory reactor was employed to validate the model by means of the experimental data. It has been shown that this simple model is of sufficient accuracy for engineering applications.
