Abstract
⺠In flight phobia there may be increased sensitivity for respiratory signals. ⺠Added respiratory loads were used in an interference paradigm and detection task. ⺠The respiratory loads caused interference in all subjects. ⺠In fear of flying the respiratory loads were detected more accurately. ⺠This superior accuracy was related to increased reports of bodily sensations.
