Abstract
Constructing a diagnostic and therapeutic approach needs to take account of elements of the setting and context in which family finds itself. It is therefore relevant to plan for tailored care. The ill-treatment occurring in privileged environments does not escape the many challenges raised, and it requires perceptiveness and tenacity on the part of the clinicians. “Friendly” intervention aims for the empowerment of the different protagonists, carefully avoiding making them feel guilty, which would be harmful to the therapeutic alliance.
