Abstract
This brief self-report measure of values-based action seems to yield valid data in Swedish adults suffering from chronic pain. Values based processes appear important within evidence-based treatments for chronic pain, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the CPVI may help assess these, particularly in predictor studies of pain-related functioning and analyses of therapeutic change processes or mechanisms.
