Abstract
► Children with dyslexia have impaired pitch perception. ► Deficits are bigger in local than global pitch perception. ► This dissociation confirms a left-hemisphere deficit in non-reading tasks. ► Results offer new tools for dyslexia diagnosis and intervention. ► Results support a link between auditory perception and reading.
