Abstract
⺠Children with dyslexia have impaired pitch perception. ⺠Deficits are bigger in local than global pitch perception. ⺠This dissociation confirms a left-hemisphere deficit in non-reading tasks. ⺠Results offer new tools for dyslexia diagnosis and intervention. ⺠Results support a link between auditory perception and reading.
