Abstract
⺠EEG alpha activity during generation of common vs. uncommon solutions was contrasted. ⺠Convergent and divergent thinking processes were studied within the same task. ⺠Divergent thinking induced higher task-related alpha power than convergent thinking. ⺠Differential effects were observed for lower and higher creative individuals.
