Abstract
⺠Error processing is crucial for behavioral adaptation. ⺠Error-related potentials (ErrPs) can be extracted reliably from the human EEG. ⺠The error negativity varies between patients suffering from CNS pathologies. ⺠ErrPs are used to discriminate between correct and erroneous responses ⺠ErrPs thus have predictive validity for a wide range of applications such as BCIs.
