Abstract
⺠Pre-extinction DCS in the BLA impairs extinction of appetitive odor discrimination. ⺠The same treatment before brief memory reactivation improves task reconsolidation. ⺠BLA NMDA receptors are involved in odor-food reward associative learning & memory. ⺠DCS in BLA may potentiate the persistence or strength of the original memory trace.
