Abstract
⺠Dorsal striatum inactivation disrupts conditional discrimination (CD) performance. ⺠Dorsal hippocampal inactivation disrupts spatial alternation performance. ⺠Rats exhibit response behavior after inactivation of both brain regions. ⺠Comparison between the two tasks allows for the control of confounding variables. ⺠Results characterize the contributions of these two brain areas to CD performance.
