Abstract
⺠We created forebrain-specific constitutive active CaMKKα transgenic mice. ⺠Phosphorylation of CaMKI was increased in these mice. ⺠These mice showed impairment in long-term spatial memory in the Barnes circular maze. ⺠Long-term memory in the contextual fear conditioning was also impaired in these mice.
