Abstract
► TAL in goldfish is rapidly acquired, highly flexible and maintained for a long time. ► Lesions of dorsomedial pallium (proposed as amygdala homologue) impair TAL in goldfish. ► Deficits were not due to a lesion-related disruption of taste discrimination. ► Dorsolateral pallium (hippocampus homologue) or cerebellum did not affect this learning.
