Abstract
⺠H-89 or arcaine prevented memory improvement induced by spermidine (SPD). ⺠SPD facilitated PKA and CREB phosphorylation 180 min, after administration. ⺠SPD increased translocation of the catalytic subunit of PKA into the nucleus. ⺠Arcaine and H-98 prevented PKA and CREB phosphorylation induced by SPD. ⺠Memory enhancement induced by SPD involves the PKA/CREB pathways in rats.
