Abstract
⺠Repeated exposure to stress context extinguishes predator stress-induced contextual fear memories. ⺠Repeated exposure to stress context extinguishes predator stress-induced hyperarousal. ⺠Meytrapone prevented extinction of predator stress-induced hyperarousal. ⺠Our data suggest that decreased glucocorticoids may contribute to a core symptom of PTSD.
