⺠Cortisol induced modulated fear learning in women taking oral contraceptives. ⺠Cortisol enhances fear acquisition in the anterior cingulate and the hippocampus. ⺠Cortisol facilitates fear extinction in hippocampus, thalamus, and amygdala.
