Abstract
⺠The higher sensitization for an annealing in the region 550-600 °C for tellurite glasses have been measured. ⺠It is suggested that tellurite glass can be used at therapeutic radiation doses. ⺠Tellurite glasses in the form 80(TeO2)-5(TiO2)-(15 â x) (WO3)-(x) AnOm where AnOm = Nb2O5, Nd2O3, Er2O3 and x = 5 mol% have been irradiated. ⺠Tellurite glasses in the form 80(TeO2)-5(TiO2)-(15 â x) (WO3)-(x) AnOm where AnOm = Nb2O5, Nd2O3, Er2O3 and x = 5 mol% can be used at therapeutic radiation doses.
