Abstract

âº Patients with schizophrenia show deficits on paired associates learning. âº This deficit is pronounced for stimuli assessing the magnocellular visual pathway. âº In amnestic mild cognitive impairment, learning does not depend on stimuli. âº In schizophrenia, the magnocellular task correlates with right hippocampal volume.
