Abstract
⺠We present a RCE photodetector, which has flat-top and steep-edge response. ⺠We design the device with multiple-step-type p-type contact layer and step-shaped absorption layer. ⺠Response has good characteristic. ⺠Quantum efficiency is 51.161% in the flat-top passband, 0.5 and 3 dB bandwidths are 0.26 and 0.4 nm, respectively.
