Abstract
⺠This study used a natural experiment design to test the effect of early life famine exposure on adult mental disorders. ⺠This study suggested that malnutrition in early life may have a profound, life-long effect on psychological health. ⺠This study discussed how selection effect and deleterious impact of famine exposure may affect men and women differently.
