Abstract
⺠Differential access to Aboriginal rights is perceived to shape the health of Aboriginal peoples in urban areas. ⺠A disrespect for Aboriginal rights in urban areas is perceived to result in negative health outcomes. ⺠Aboriginal community may help to mitigate perceived health impacts via connection with identity/culture. ⺠Distinct gender differences may exist with respect to the negotiation of disrespect for Aboriginal rights in urban areas.
