Abstract
⺠Evaluates obesity patterns by ethnicity and nativity for Mexican-origin US youth. ⺠Explores the role of Mexico's nutrition transition in shaping US obesity patterns. ⺠Results show obesity prevalence is not lower for foreign-born Mexican-origin youth. ⺠Questions the previously-observed protective effect of migration for obesity risk.
