Abstract
⺠Previous research considering education as a social determinant of obesity may have residual confounding. ⺠We adjust for socioeconomic covariates from across the life course, educational aspirations, and educational expectations. ⺠The relationship between educational attainment and obesity differs by race/ethnicity and is non-linear.
