Abstract
⺠Community capacity may be more robust than social capital in contextual effects. ⺠The impact of community capacity for mobilization on health status was examined. ⺠As community capacity gets higher, there is an impact on the residents' health. ⺠Community-based organizations are worth considering as a key contextual indicator. ⺠Contextual effects should incorporate community capacity for promoting health.
