Abstract
⺠Even small and moderate natural disasters had widespread effects on child health. ⺠Disaster exposure increased the likelihood of acute illnesses in children under 5. ⺠Disaster exposure was associated with stunting and underweight in children under 5. ⺠Disaster exposure reduced the likelihood of timely immunizations among children. ⺠Effects of natural disasters varied by child's gender, age and socioeconomic status.
