Abstract
Innovation has been regarded as a key driver of technological and economic development, however, we rarely reflect on the social impact and the particular characteristics which groups or agricultural communities face in order to participate, adopt, adapt and/or develop innovations. In this research it was identified that innovation as an inclusive process is critical to have real impact on the productive activities of such groups.
