Abstract
This article is intended to present synthetically the final subjects of the first course of General Economic History imparted at the Faculty of Economics at unam under current program of study (1994). The article focuses on the study of so-called “bourgeois revolutions” and industrialization processes, two historical events that contributed to the development and consolidation of global capitalism between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries.
