Abstract
This paper frames the relevance of the hierarchies in the transnational production networks of the automotive industry; the role of Mexico in the economic space of the nafta in the recomposition stage of the spatial localization of the great automotive firms from the United States, and their perspectives when confronting a horizon of dominance by corporations and production spaces from the Asia pacific region.
