We proposed a moving pixel mapping (MPM) method for reconstructing real and orthoscopic images with improved image-quality. Compared with the modified smart pixel mapping (MSPM) method, not only are real and orthoscopic images able to be reconstructed at different distance, but image-quality of reconstructed images is also enhanced by applying the proposed MPM method in the II system. The difference between the MSPM method and the propose MPM method is that the proposed method can provide authentic data from 3D objects instead of interpolating the inappropriate data for the reconstruction of 3D image. Theoretical analysis of the proposed method is given. To show the feasibility of the proposed scheme, a series of computational experiments is carried out.
