Abstract
► We analyse culture on growth in cooperation with the basic growth factors. ► We divide culture in “Efficiency Orientation” and “Social Orientation” variables. ► We perform a sensitivity analysis to define the cultural change effects on growth. ► Cultural background has a strong interpretive role (+) in annual growth rates. ► “Social Orientation” has a crucial explanatory (+) power for annual growth rates.
