Abstract
⺠System of nonlinear stochastic equations describes fluctuations with a 1/f spectrum. ⺠There exist different distributions with power-law and Gaussian tails. ⺠Gaussian distribution for the governing equation was used for finding the Gibbs-Shannon entropy. ⺠The maximum of the entropy corresponds to a critical regime with a 1/f spectrum.
