Abstract
⺠Newtonian trajectories can be used to solve both the Boltzmann and the Wigner-Liouville equations. ⺠In particular, tunneling can be treated with Newtonian trajectories. ⺠Numerical instabilities related to the Wigner kernel can be avoided by defining an appropriate effective potential.
