Abstract
⺠Hierarchy disappears in a co-evolution process in a system composed of cyclic competing species. ⺠A hierarchical competing system tends to transit to a cyclic competing state described by the rock-paper-scissors game. ⺠The elimination of hierarchy is analyzed by a mean-field approach and is examined with stochastic simulations.
