Abstract
⺠We model the Barkhausen effect in ferromagnetic thin films.⺠The 2-d model is based in discrete rules for evolution of magnetic domain wall.⺠We found power-law critical behavior for distributions of sizes and jump-durations.⺠The results are in good agreement with experiments and new theoretical contributions.⺠The model allows us to review current issues in the study of avalanche motion.
