Abstract
⺠A Fisher information measure estimation is proposed in terms of symbolic dynamics. ⺠Symbolic Fisher information measure (SFIM), is used to analyse EM precursor data. ⺠It detects the organization level of the data and the underlying fracture processes. ⺠SFIM and Tsallis non-extensive entropy analysis results are generally in agreement. ⺠Both highlight the persistent part, while Tsallis entropy the anti-persistent too.
