Abstract
⺠We develop a simple individual donation model with only two exponents. ⺠We provide an analytical method to reveal information behind the donation data. ⺠We find an increase in inequality degree of wealth distribution in China. ⺠We find that the donation enthusiasm in response to the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake is larger than that to the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
