Abstract
⺠This paper provides the first rigorous proof of a bound on the errors, which occur due to the applied coarse graining. ⺠The theorem bounds the error in an n step process in terms of the error in a single step. ⺠The proof was done by applying an operator norm directly to the time propagation operators, thus the error can be measured in a way that applies to arbitrary initial states.
