Abstract
⺠We study the effects of social impact on epidemic spreading in four networks. ⺠The network has two types of nodes based on the social impact theory. ⺠We obtain the epidemic threshold conditions by mean-field analysis. ⺠The epidemic spreading is coupled with the opinion dynamics. ⺠Epidemic can be inhibited by increasing the fraction of self-protective nodes.
