Abstract
⺠A novel spatial prisoner's dilemma game with vertex weight on the regular lattice is proposed. ⺠The influence of three types of random weight distribution on the cooperation dynamics is considered. ⺠Compared with the traditional version, distributed weight can greatly promote the cooperation. ⺠The impact of the amplitude of undulation of weight distribution on the cooperation frequency is studied. ⺠The influence of noise strength on the density of the cooperator is investigated.
