Abstract
⺠We define the electrical betweenness by considering the maximal demand of load and the capacity of generators. ⺠We introduce the loss of load to measure the vulnerability of power grids. ⺠The cumulative distributions of node electrical betweenness follow a power-law. ⺠The nodes with high electrical betweenness play critical roles in power grids.
