Abstract
PZT/PVDF composites (0–3 type) doped with carbon nanotubes were prepared by flowing. The effect of the carbon nanotubes on the performance of the PVDF matrix and PZT/PVDF composites was examined. The results show that mixing a moderate amount of carbon nanotubes into the PVDF matrix not only enhances the dielectric constant of the matrix but also induces the transformation of the PVDF crystal from α-phase into β-phase. These effects can improve the piezoelectric performance of the PZT/PVDF composites.
