Abstract
The present paper is focused on the technical and typological study of the lithic industry from the Oushtout 1 site. The protohistoric metallurgists came to this place to exploit flint outcrops and siliceous rocks, which date to the Cretaceous period. According to the study of degree of wholeness of these artifacts and of their knapping techniques, the author assigns the industry to the Neolithic period and finds the similar industries into the Oushtout mines discovered near of them.
